Ohio NORML is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a better understanding of the current status of drug laws in Ohio and the United States, and civil libertarian arguments for a more reasonable treatment of marijuana in the laws. It is the opinion of this organization that the decision concerning the use of marijuana is an individual one and should not be dictated by law.
Our meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month. For more information, you can call us at Just a NORML Shop, located in downtown Lodi, Ohio, (330) 948-WEED. There are also members-only gatherings at Crazy River Ranch from time to time.
We encourage all of you that have shown support for NORML to join us at our meetings. Bringing together a group of like-minded people that are interested in changing the arcane laws presently governing the cannabis plant is one of the most effective ways to help in this law reform. Currently, NORML has over 65 active chapters in the US and around the world, and needs many more to effect real change. If you are located in southern or central Ohio, we would be glad to help you get a chapter started in your area. Ohio NORML is currently the only active chapter in the state.
Membership is only $20 for an individual or $25 for a family. Here are some of the benefits you will enjoy as a member of the Ohio chapter:
Staunch supporter membership entitles you to a NORML t-shirt.
Membership card entitles you to members-only parties and events; 10% off on all product at "Just a NORML Shop" and use of members-only room at the shop--great videos, library, and online access to the Internet.
